Many Meals of Camarillo

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide hot meals, food, and other life essentials to those in need and to suggest additional resources available that could lead to a more secure future.

We are a non-profit, non-denominational, all-volunteer program in Camarillo, established in 2009, serving a hot meal twice a week.  We provide a bag of groceries to our families, and annually distribute backpacks and shoes to the needy children attending our dinners.

FREE DINNER serving our Brothers & Sisters in Need. Served from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

MONDAY: St. Mary Magdalen Church Hall, corner of Crestview & Las Posas

It all started when…

in early 2009, helping to support Many Meals of Santa Paula (MMSP), we realized that we wanted to bring this experience to Camarillo to assist our community members in need. Our first meal was served in July 2009 at St. Mary Magdalen’s Parish Hall, with 31 people served that first night. Monday night meals still at St. Mary Magdalen’s Parish Hall, average 120-150 people.

In September of 2010, a second night was started on Thursday at the Trinity Presbyterian Church hall. This site is supported by five churches in the community and average 90 people on Thursdays.
